My direction changed a little with cabinet revamp over the weekend, but I did get it done today and will be posting pictures tomorrow. I'm in LOVE with the new color I found to use on it and it's got me inspired to finally get back to working on the living room, including the dreaded couch project! So while I'm getting the cabinet pictures ready, I thought I'd share a little of my inspiration with you.
I've been majorly falling for peach over the last few months and when I came across this picture on Pinterest a while back, it sang to me! The colors, the dark wood, the white...it just makes me feel happy and calm.
But, I'm thinking the subtlety of it all would end up getting just a tiny bit boring for me and I'd also been DYING over this couch for quite a while (and that chandelier).
So, I'm thinking that adding a few of these splashes to the neutral palate is the perfect marriage. So I give you my Peach With A Splash Living Room all set against the living room floor of my dreams, which is a little way down the road.

4. Loving this damasky/lace pillow from this awesome ETSY shop. Although, it probably goes without saying that a $76 pillow is a little out of my range, so I'll be on the hunt for similar alternatives.
5. I just happen to have a table similar to this sitting in my basement waiting to be painted. Another half a project checked off my list.
Now if that damn couch would just magically finish itself.
