As much as I love my Christmas decorations, I love the liberation and clean feeling in my house when they come down. Then, just like that, I caught the Valentine bug...yup, already. Although, much like last year, Valentine's is limited to my stand-in "mantel" in my kitchen. And it probably won't surprise you that I lean more towards the soft pinks and greens for the holiday of love than the traditional red.
Muted colors, lace, and of course, old, mixed-metal were the name of the game, so I didn't even bother to take down the Christmas garland. And I'll be showing you how I made this no-sew ruffle wreath soon.
Some of my pinecones are also still lingering after Christmas, along with a mercury glass owl I scored for like five bucks at World Market the day after Christmas. And I so looovvee the whole arrow thing going on right now and what better holiday to go crazy with them?
A piece of scrap wood, painted and stained--long ago and has been sitting in the craft abyss I mentioned earlier this week--embellished with lace and paper pretties. And that little arrow clothespin? If you haven't seen Target's $1 aisle for V-Day yet, you should run there. Bakers twine, yes, bakers twine, these adorable pins (3 in a pkg) and tons of other awesome stuff! And...the other printable.
I hope you love these printables as much as I do. I was super excited with how they came together! Best part: I don't think they're February exclusive--I'll be using them in my daughter's room in the coming months. Happy season of luuuvvv.
Please note when you download these, except for the "Love You" vertical, if you print directly from the site, they will print as 5x7. If you would like an 8x10 or 11x14, you'll need to rotate it first within the application and then print, or just download to your computer and then print.
*Printables are for MFL followers only, so please take the time to follow via your method of choice in the sidebar.*
There are also a few more new ones on ETSY for $5.00 that would be perfect for Valentines or just the every day.
